Due to the many tragic events afflicting First Nation communities, especially the loss of loved ones and family, we desire to express the love of Jesus Christ in the grieving process by building a network with band offices and community members in order to distribute care packages. Care packages will contain a combination of Christian counselling material, a Bible, hand-written letters, and comfort items such as blankets and food. Our goals through this program are to “mourn with those who mourn”(Romans 12:15); and build meaningful relationships through an expression of the love of God.
